The photographs consist of images of flights and airplane models in the 1930s and 1940s, including those of bombers and fighters designed for the U.S. Army during WWII. The Clarence E. Youngman Collection contains materials from an alumni of Parks College of Engineering Aviation & Technology at St. Louis University who studied Aviation Maintenance Engineering. The majority of the photographs date from circa the 1940s to 1981 and are of Youngman and his peers, including portraits, the Alpha Pi Sigma Parks fraternity from 1950, dance, social, wedding, army, and airplane photos.
