Most of these letters are from Allen Spitzer's parents, Henry and Mary Spitzer, and his sister Mabel Spitzer, later Mrs. Harold Sharon. Lillian Spitzer writes to Charles Frantz of the American Anthropological Association informing him of Allen Spitzer's death from a cerebral hemorrhage.
