These 11 illustrations of elvish Billikens were drawn for "Elf Tales," an unpublished project Florence Pretz Smalley undertook with her friend and frequent collaborator Sara Hamilton Birchall. The illustrations include sketches, designs of title pages, end papers, and page illustrations drawn with pen, pencil, and watercolors.
