Boring: A Prefatory Note on Anarchism Today - zine, self-published in Saint Louis, Missouri, by an unknown author. Anti-authoritarian/counterculture in focus. Anarchist, anti-capitalist, pro-feminist articles, poetry, and DIY graphics.
The Confluence - underground newspaper published in Saint Louis, Missouri. Includes environmental news about Mississippi River Valley and Ozark bioregion.
Crooked Roads - literary anti-war zine, published in Kansas City, Missouri by the Wheel of Fire Press. Concerned with politics, especially anti-Gulf War activities. Journal also includes reviews, essays, and poetry by local authors.
FACES - a magazine published by the St. Louis Metro Trans Umbrella Group since 2024. The magazine focused on transgender communities in the St. Louis area. These zines are the miniature versions of the full magazine, which is available at the Metro Trans Umbrella Group's website. [added to collection August 2025]

The Lesbian and Gay News-Telegraph - independent newspaper covering gay and lesbian current events and issues. Published by the Piasa Publishing Company in Saint Louis and Kansas City, Missouri. Distributed in Missouri, Memphis, and Little Rock.
Modern Slavery - independent newspaper published in Columbia, Missouri. Claims to challenge "the corporate and party line pushed by the mass media that we've never had it so good." Generally focused on events in Columbia and mid-MIssouri, presenting "independent and radical news, views, and analyses which the mainstream media cannot or will not publish."
The Moon - free compliation art and poetry zine published from 2015 to 2018. The zine was based out of St. Louis, Missouri. [added to collection August 2025]
Moonstorm - lesbian feminist magazine directed at women, published in Saint Louis, Missouri by the moonstorm collective. Earlier issues appeared in bound booklet form, while later issues were in newsletter format. Covered feminist political issues, as well as general anti-capitalist, anti-violence, anti-patriarchical concerns. Later issues include stories related to local events affecting women and other oppressed groups.
Passionate and Dangerous: conversations with Midwestern anti-authoritarians and anarchists - a single issue magazine published circa 1999 by Mark Bohnert. The magazine features interviews with people around the Midwest. [added to collection August 2025]
Rise Above - zine, anarchist/anti-authoritarian in focus. Includes articles and poems against capitalism, militarism, and the police. Published by an unknown author in Troy, Illinois (part of the Saint Louis Metropolitan region)
St. Louis Is A Book Desert - informational zine about "book deserts," published by The Noir Bookshop, a concept bookstore in St. Louis dedicated to the Black experience. [added to collection August 2025]
Untitled mini-zine by Linnea Nierman, circa 2024 - this mini-zine depicts cats and a dog running and sleeping on a couch. The artist is based out of Kansas City, Missouri.
