The Abolition of Work - booklet written by Bob Black, published by Feh! Press, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1992. Traces the history of work and argues for its abolition.
Harmful Matter - zine, published in Minneapolis, Minnesota (previously Indiana), by Jeff Subhumyn; anarchist/anti-authoritarian in general, with a focus on prisons, capitalism, racism, and the rights of homosexuals.
Arise - underground newspaper, published in Minneapolis, Minnesota by the Arise! collective. Focused on eco-activism and liberation of oppressed groups in the United States and abroad.
Art Flux - zine, created by Donovan and Aron in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dates unknown, circa 1990s. Consists mostly of comics, with some commentary and interviews by the authors. Concerned with sex, anarchism, and politics.
Assault with Intent to Free - magazine, printed on newsprint by Assault (with intent to free), Minneapolis, Minnesota. Topics include environmentalism, economics, politics, music, and art. Takes an anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist, environmentalist viewpoint. Unknown date range of publication.
Cultural Democracy - magazine, published by the Alliance for Cultural Democracy (ACD), Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ACD was an activist arts organization in operation between 1982 and 1994. Supported the ideas that "culture is an essential human need and that each person and community has the right to a culture or cultures of their choice; that all communities should have equitable access to the material resources of the commonwealth for their cultural expression; that cultural values and policies should be decided in public debate with the guaranteed participation of all communities; that the govrnment does not have the right to favor one culture over another." Many of the articles were written by African Americans or are concerned with African American cultural issues, as well as national and international culture and politics.
Free Society - zine, published in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by the ecological anarchist society the Youth Greens (later independently under the name the Free Society Collective). Anti-capitalist, anti-statist organization, working toward a free, non-hierarchical organization of society. Concerned with environmentalism, economics, racism, and politics. Youth Greens also known as the Autonomous Green Network, or Ecological Anarchist Network.
How to '92: Model Actions for a Post-Columbian World - magazine published by the Alliance for Cultural Democracy, Minneapolis, Minnesota, as part of their "campaign for a post-Columbian world." Anti-colonial, intended "as an ongoing manual for cultural activism for 1992 and beyond."
Lard Gore - zine, published in Minneapolis, Minnesota by an unknown author. Focus is on anarchy, environmentalism, politics. Includes an insert entitled How Sad is That Doggie in the Window, and a cloth patch with a dog paw on it.
MAS - zine, published in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by MAS Fanzine and Distribution. Focused on the alternative and punk scenes in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area, with articles about local musical acts, along with political articles with an anarchist, anti-authoritarian leaning.
No Apology - zine, published in Minneapolis, Minnesota by SOS. Anti-authoritarian, anarchist, anti-oppression in focus, with articles about political issues, economics, culture, and music.
Profane Existence - newspaper, published by the Profane Existence Collective in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded in 1989, the organization still publishes the newspaper as of May 2014. The paper is focused on anarchist issues and activisim, as well as punk rock and hardcore music. The collective publishes the paper "with the intent of crossing the barriers of alienation which keep society as a whole separated and pacified."
Vomit Blood - zine, published in Saint Paul, Minnesota by Michael Wood. Focused on punk rock, anarchism, and social oppression and liberation. Anti-capitalist, anti-police, anti-authoritarian in general. Unknown date range of publication.
University Graffito - alternative magazine created and published by students at the University of Minnesota, under the corporate title Graffito Publications, Inc., Saint Paul, Minnesota. Includes articles on alternative cultures, student activities, and other issues relevant to the University of Minnesota population. Unknown date range of publication.
