Active Resistance/Autonomous Zone - booklet, flyers, and program for Active Resistance counter-convention, an anarchist/counterculture convention organized by the Autonomous Zone collective in Chicago, which took place 21-31 August 1996, coinciding with the National Democratic Convention that year.

Libertarian Labor Review - anarcho-syndicalist magazine co-founded by anarchist Sam Dolgoff in 1986. The name of the magazine was changed to the Anarcho-Syndicalist Review in 1999 in order to avoid confusion with the Libertarian Party of the United States. Concerned with anarcho-syndicalist issues, economics, labor relations, and politics. International in scope, though published in Champaign, Illinois and Cortland, New York.

Lumpen Magazine/The Lumpen Times - magazine published by the Lumpen Media Group, Chicago, Illinois. The organization was founded in 1991 in Chicago. Anti-authoritarian and counterculture in focus, with articles concerning local and national politics, culture, and social issues. Anti-capitalist, strongly opposed to mainstream political organization.

Mad Woman - zine, published in Chicago Illinois by H. Perkins. Part of the SisterSerpents feminist organization, founded in 1989. Strongly feminist in nature, with articles, images, and poems about rape, abortion, relationships, health care, and the portrayal of women in advertisements and culture,

NAM Working Papers on Gay and Lesbian Liberation and Socialism - booklet published by the New American Movement, Chicago, Illinois, 1979. Contains essays concerning homosexual culture in the 1970s and 1980s, the liberation of homosexuals, and the relationship of this liberation to the broader socialist goal of overthrowing capitalism.

PEE - zine, published in Naperville, Illinois, by Molly (last name not provided). Generally anti-authoritarian and anarchist in nature, with articles about social oppression, political issues, and similar topics. Unknown date range of publication.

Planet - underground newspaper published in Chicago, Illinois by PLANET. Includes fictional, satirical tabloid "news" stories. Apparently intended to mock tabloids such as the National Enquirer and Weekly World News. Unkown date range of publication.

Reader - independent, alternative newspaper published in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1971, as of 2014 it is still in publication. The newspaper is focused on local and national politics, urban affairs, social issues, culture, and music.

Rite Now - comic zine, published by Dan Grzeca in Lombard, Illinois, 1991. The comics vary thematically, and include a comic based on the song Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash, as well as visual examples of the idea of "doublespeak," or redefining politically charged words to make them seem more innocuous. As of 2014 Grzeca works as a printmaker in Chicago, primarily designing and printing posters for local musical acts.

Schoolstopper's Textbook - booklet of anti-education propaganda articles. Published in Chicago, Illinois by Wind Chill Factor zine. Articles were photocopied and reprinted from various sources.

Some Chicago Anarchists publications - primarily anarchist flyers and broadsides. Titles include Autonomy for Individual and Collective Self Rule: Newsletter of Some Chicago Anarchists; The Best Government is No Government; Don't Vote; Freedom for All!; U.S. Out of Central America is Not Enough!
