The Match! - Anarchist journal, founded in 1969 by Fred Woodworth of Tucson, Arizona. The journal has been published on Woodworth's own printing press since its foundation, and "exists solely for the purpose of criticizing authoritarian society and religion in order to argue for the many humane advantages of freedom and rationality." The Match is an independent journal, strongly committed to anarchist and atheist ideals, though rejecting all types of violence and vandalism. Adamently against the use of computers.
No Longer Silent - Anarchist/counterculture zine, distinctly anti-government and anti-authoritarian, founded in 1989. Self-published in Tucson, Arizona by Eliza Blackweb, it is "a homegrown journal dedicated to exposing the coerciveness, injustice, and hypocrisy inherent in all authoritarian/hierarchical structures; inspiring and celebrating the growth of personal freedom as well as the claiming of individual responsiblity; and creating a tangible, community-based anarchism in our own lives."
