Z Magazine, founded in 1988, is an independent monthly periodical published by Z Communications. The magazine is generally socialist and anti-capitalist in nature, and covers political, cultural, and foreign affairs topics. The Z Communications media group and the magazine were established by Michael Albert and Lydia Sargent.
