Background Notes
FAMA was the very first independent multimedia company in the former Yugoslavia. Led by Suada Kapić, FAMA launched popular projects like the television talk show The Art of Living (Umijeće življenja), focusing on contemporary, progressive social and political issues.
In 2014, the organization transitioned into a non-profit association called FAMA Methodology. Rather than treating historical events strictly as dates and political figures, FAMA uses a unique mapping approach to look at war through the lens of human creativity, resilience, and adaptability. Its core goals are to map facts, preserve oral history, and convert historical traumas into "knowledge transfer modules" for future generations navigating modern global crises.
