Scope and Contents

This series consists of nationally-distributed magazines and newspapers with a generally anarchist, underground, or counterculture focus. Represented publications include Anarchy: A Journal of Desire Armed, Z Magazine, Ideas and Action, and Kick it Over. The materials are organized into sub-series by name of publication, and are arranged chronologically within each sub-series.

Scope and Contents Anarchy: A Journal of Desire Armed is an anarchist publication, founded in 1980 by the Columbia Anarchist League of Columbia, Missouri. As of 2014 it is published bi-annually by the Center for Alternative Literature in Berkeley, California.
