Boeheim and Templeton Collection
Scope and Contents
The Boeheim and Templeton Collection contains materials from two medical doctors who graduated in the St. Louis area. Johannes Julius Boeheim graduated in 1895 from Marion-Sims College, which was later acquired by Saint Louis University. James Scott Templeton graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in St. Louis in 1898 and later married Boeheim’s daughter Isabelle. The collection contains several records from Marion-Sims College, including a course catalog, commencement invitations and programs, and Boeheim’s graded coursework, as well as personal ephemera and a class photo of Templeton.
