Scope and Contents
The bulk of the records in this collection document the production process of hundreds of plays performed by the Saint Louis University Theatre Department since its inception in 1946. Additional materials include administrative records related to play production and departmental affairs, master's theses produced by graduate students in the department, and a restricted series of student records. Also included is one artifact, a circa-1964 painting depicting Richard Burton as Hamlet.

Access to the majority of the collection is unrestricted. However, Series 4, Student Records, is restricted from public access. If you are looking for a copy of your own student records, please contact the SLU Registrar's office.
