This folder contains manuscripts of papers by Allen Spitzer, arranged alphabetically by title.
Included here are: "Aspects of Religious Life in Tepoztlan" and two drafts; a comment for "Current Anthropology" on Donald Stanley Marshall's article "General Anthropology Strategy for a Human Science"; "Conflict between Catholic and Non-Catholic Instruction on Marriage and the Family," delivered before the Convention on Family Welfare of the National Catholic Welfare Conference in March 1949; "The Cultural Organization of American Religious Pluralism"; drafts of Spitzer's progress report on his work on Robert Redfield's theory of the great and little traditions, carried out in American Samoa in 1966; "Why the Third Order?," explaining Allen and Lillian Spitzer's entry into the Third Order of Carmelites, Discalced; and an untitled piece bidding farewell to Allen Spitzer's colleagues in Australia.
