This series, arranged alphabetically by title of manuscript, consists of

typescripts of Mary C. Clemens's works on the Clemens family and the descendants

of John Mullanphy, as well as Raymond Martin Bell's _Ancestry of Samuel Clemens_,

Bell's and Harriet Hardaway's _James Clemens of Washington County_, and Alice Lida

Cochran's chapter on Irish immigration from her dissertation on Mullanphy and his

descendants. Also here are some accounts of early Clemens family members

apparently by Hardaway.
