Scope and Contents

The St. Elizabeth’s Chronicle began in March 1928, in order to help publicize and finance the church, during Fr. Markoe’s time as pastor. In 1931, the name was changed to The Chronicle. In 1932, the paper became the official newsletter of the Federated Colored Catholics of the United States and was renamed to The Interracial Review. There are 40 volumes total of the publication.
