Brother, 1983 - 1992
Scope and Contents
Brother, started in 1983, was the newquarterly of the New National Mens' Organization. In 1983, the organization changed their name to the National Organization for Changing Men (NOCM) and later in 1990 to the National Organization for Men Against Sexism (NOMAS). NOMAS is the oldest anti-sexist mens' organization in the United States. The issues contain information about conferences and events of interest to the anti-sexist mens' movement, as well as articles about mens' issues.
This series was added to the Joseph Heathcott Collection of Counterculture Publications in August 2025, after it had been acquired by the Library.
