This folder contains correspondence, pamphlets, and circulars regarding international research and teaching opportunities in which Allen Spitzer was interested.
Notable items: Spitzer writes that he applied for the Fulbright award for Australia at the behest of the director of the department of anthropology at the University of Western Australia and mentions that he has contracted to write a textbook in cultural anthropology (7-26-61). Also here is a letter from the National Teacher Placement Service advising Spitzer of an opening at Jackson College in Honolulu (8-17-61).
