Scope and Contents

This folder contains transcriptions of articles on University history from the "University Bulletin," "Fleur de Lis," the "Alumni Newsletter," and various histories of St. Louis. Topics covered include: the establishment of the University; prominent St. Louisans; beer brewing in the city; the De Smet Memorial League; the University's exhibit at the World's Fair; Louise, the Dental School's mule mascot; Walsh Memorial Stadium; and the Henry Edwin Sever bequest for the establishment of a school of technology. Also here is a calendar in which Bannon entered notable events in University history.
